Ballon d’Or 2025 Nominee Lists Released Across All Categories

The shortlist of nominees for the 2025 Ballon d’Or awards was unveiled today, Thursday, August 7, by France Football through L’Équipe’s website and mobile application. The announcement highlighted outstanding performances across men’s and women’s football during the 2024–25 season.
First introduced in 1956, the Ballon d’Or remains one of football’s most prestigious accolades. Organised annually by France Football, the event recognises excellence not only in individual performance but also in team achievements, coaching, and off-the-pitch impact.
